About me
I am a researcher in Sustainable Finance with a strong interest in the intersection of data science and financial economics to address pressing real-world challenges. My work leverages machine learning and textual analysis to inform investment decisions and support the sustainability efforts of firms and financial institutions. I am particularly passionate about harnessing financial data and artificial intelligence to promote transparency, accountability, and long-term value creation.
My current research focuses on sustainable investing and corporate behavior, with particular emphasis on ESG data quality, greenwashing, and the financial implications of biodiversity and climate risks.
I am currently an Assistant Professor (RTT) in Finance at the Department of Economics and Management, University of Trento. Previously, I held a postdoctoral research position at the Technical University of Munich. Before earning my Ph.D. from the University of Trento, I completed a Master’s in Finance and a Bachelor’s in General Management at EBS University in Germany. My academic and professional journey has been driven by a commitment to combining analytical rigor with a broader societal purpose—an approach that continues to shape both my research and collaborations.
